The theme of World Wildlife Day this year is ‘Sustaining all life on Earth’, encompassing all wild animal and plant species as key components of the world’s biodiversity.
We, Sisters of St John of God, are called to take personal and corporate action to “care for our common home” (Laudato Si’, no.1), aware of the hospitality of the Earth, and of our role as co-creators with God who is being revealed in the here and now.
