27 November: Day 3 of 16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence

Back to news

Worldwide, millions of children are engaged in child labour. UNICEF estimates that in the least developed countries, nearly one in four children (ages 5 to 14) are engaged in labour that is considered detrimental to their health and development. In almost all regions, boys and girls are equally likely to be involved in child labour. Girls are far more likely to be involved in domestic work.

Light your candle and join us in prayer, thought or reflection today
for all the Girls who, in 2018, have been forced into labour from a young age
