Please pray for the happy repose of a most beautiful soul: Sr. Petrus Enright SSJG
Otherwise known as, Auntie Bessie🩷

Bessie left Asdee, Co. Kerry as a young girl, to enter religious life with the Sisters of St. John of God. She lived in Ireland and other places, but most of life was spent in Perth, Western Australia.

Petrus celebrated 70 years as a nun last July 2025 and reached her 90th birthday, in December 2025. She adored being a religious sister and led a very happy, contented and fulfilling life.

My memories of my dear Aunt will remain with me for life and Petrus’ legacy is everlasting.

Bessie, you live on in my heart and in the hearts of all who love you. Rest now and sleep in peace. I am immensely grateful to you, for everything. I thank you for your love and care. I am glad too, that you always knew, just how much you were loved and appreciated by us all – The Enright Family X

Sr. Petrus Enright, was a living example of God’s love to mankind, and as her niece, I am honoured to have grown up knowing her, and to have sheltered at times, beneath her wings🪽 of love.

May dear Petrus rest in peace. 🙏
