PEDIVALIUM

Pedivalium was the co-winner of the 2004 Mandorla Religious Art Awards, which are held in Perth biannually.  The judges, Margaret Woodward, Robert Juniper and Ben Joel collaboratively made the following statement on the artwork:

This subtly rendered hybrid work offers a study in humility with a memorable message, a lesson in leadership.  It is a richly expressed and beautifully seductive entry into the subject.  The remarkable technique does not distract the viewer from the unified image which is rich on the eye, replete with compelling elements.

The work will hang in the Province Centre's meeting room.  Sisters are invited to come and appreciate this beautiful artwork.
